IB Art

If art is to nourish the roots of our culture, society must set the artist free to follow their vision wherever
it takes them - President John F. Kennedy

About IB Art

IB Art is a two-year course where students work to develop a portfolio through the investigation and discovery of different world cultures, artists, and art-making techniques.
Students work in 2 different formats: a working journal (called an Investigative Workbook) and through creating pieces of art based on their discoveries in these journals.

Students are encouraged to make personal, socio-cultural, and aesthetic experiences meaningful through the production and understanding of art.
